We have just created a video DVD entitled
DANCING CONTRAS

A 30 min. introduction to contra dancing that explains the structure and teaches the basic moves.  It's a great way to explain this dance form to newcomers and to friends (who never could understand exactly what it is that you do!)      Click for more info.

JUNE 19-30th  2008

starting with Lichfield Folk Dance Festival
and ending with a weekend at Halsway Manor: "Pat Shaw and Beyond" with callers Alan Davies and Gary Roodman.

We will be based in Stratford Upon Avon during the week
and will visit nearby sites during the day, dancing with local clubs in the evenings.

This trip is limited to 10 people

We are sorry to have had to cancel the trip in October 2008; our local Trading Standards Office wants us to comply with regulations that were intended for commercial travel agents.  Which is fair enough but it makes it far too difficult for us to continue to organise these trips.   We would be happy to help anyone to organise a trip for themselves though.
